We are seeking a skilled Technical Writer to join our team and create clear, comprehensive documentation for our AI data annotation and machine learning systems. In this contract role, you will work closely with engineering, product, and operations teams to produce high-quality documentation that enables our customers and internal teams to effectively use our platform and services.
As a Technical Writer, you will translate complex technical concepts into accessible, user-friendly documentation. You will create annotation guidelines, API documentation, user guides, tutorials, and knowledge base articles. Your work will directly impact how our customers understand and implement our AI data solutions.
What You'll Do
- Create and maintain comprehensive annotation guidelines for AI training datasets.
- Write API documentation, SDK guides, and technical reference materials.
- Develop user guides, tutorials, and how-to documentation for our platform.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to understand complex technical concepts.
- Edit and improve existing documentation for clarity, accuracy, and consistency.
- Work with product and engineering teams to ensure documentation aligns with product features.
- Gather feedback from users and internal teams to continuously improve documentation.
- Maintain documentation style guides and ensure consistency across all materials.
What You'll Need
- 3+ years of experience as a technical writer, preferably in software or AI/ML.
- Excellent writing skills with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
- Experience creating technical documentation for APIs, SDKs, or developer tools.
- Familiarity with documentation tools (e.g., Markdown, Git, content management systems).
- Ability to work independently and manage documentation projects from concept to publication.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Experience with AI/ML, data annotation, or developer documentation is a plus.
- Portfolio of technical writing samples required.
