We are seeking a detail-oriented ML Annotation Specialist to join our growing operations team. In this role, you will play a critical part in building high-quality training data that powers the world's most advanced AI systems. You will work on complex annotation projects across computer vision, natural language processing, and multimodal AI domains.
As an ML Annotation Specialist, you will ensure data accuracy and consistency by following detailed annotation guidelines, providing feedback on edge cases, and collaborating with our quality assurance team to maintain the highest standards of data quality. Your work will directly impact the performance of AI models deployed in production environments.
What You'll Do
- Perform high-quality data annotation for computer vision, NLP, and multimodal AI projects.
- Follow and contribute to annotation guidelines, ensuring consistency across large datasets.
- Identify and document edge cases, ambiguities, and potential improvements to annotation processes.
- Collaborate with QA teams to maintain 99%+ accuracy rates on annotation deliverables.
- Provide feedback on annotation tools and workflows to improve efficiency and quality.
- Work with project managers to understand customer requirements and deliver on tight deadlines.
- Participate in calibration sessions to align with team standards and best practices.
What You'll Need
- Strong attention to detail with ability to maintain high accuracy over long periods.
- Excellent written communication skills for documenting edge cases and providing feedback.
- Ability to follow complex instructions and adapt to changing guidelines.
- Experience with data annotation tools or willingness to learn quickly.
- Basic understanding of AI/ML concepts is a plus, but not required.
