We are seeking a meticulous Data Quality Analyst to join our quality assurance team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of data quality across our AI training datasets. You will develop and implement quality control processes, analyze data patterns, and work closely with annotation teams to maintain accuracy and consistency at scale.
As a Data Quality Analyst, you will play a critical role in the data pipeline that powers production AI systems. Your work directly impacts model performance, reliability, and the success of our customers' AI applications. You will identify potential issues before they become problems, create metrics to track quality over time, and drive continuous improvement in our data operations.
What You'll Do
- Design and implement quality control processes for AI training datasets.
- Perform systematic audits of annotated data to identify errors, inconsistencies, and edge cases.
- Develop and maintain quality metrics and dashboards to track data quality over time.
- Analyze data patterns to identify systematic issues and recommend process improvements.
- Collaborate with annotation teams to provide feedback and guidance on quality standards.
- Create and update quality assurance guidelines and documentation.
- Work with engineering teams to build tools that automate quality checks.
- Participate in root cause analysis for quality issues and implement corrective actions.
What You'll Need
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and pattern recognition.
- Experience with data analysis tools (Excel, SQL, Python, or similar).
- Understanding of statistical concepts and quality control methodologies.
- Excellent communication skills for documenting findings and providing feedback.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple quality control projects simultaneously.
- Experience with AI/ML data annotation is a plus, but not required.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker) is a plus.
